The roughness comparator is a piece of metal blasted at different level of roughness, use to define roughness achieved versus requested. Delivered with a user guide and conformity's certification. It highly helps to rank roughness from very smooth to very rough. It's a manual test which allow to compare the part's roughness regarding the Standard. The Standard includes 4 different roughness range.
